Liability Overview
-
Use of Warren Park is entirely at your own risk
-
Warren Park accepts no liability for the death of, or any injury of any person or dog, or for damage to any property
-
Warren Park accepts no liability for any losses, claims, actions, damages, costs, expenses or other liability incurred whilst onsite
-
Vehicles and contents are left at their owners risk
-
Yours and your dogs' behaviour and actions are your sole responsibility and no claim can be made against Warren Park
-
You are liable for any damage caused inside and outside of the park by you, your dog(s) or any person in your party
-
All dogs must be covered under their own third party insurance (public liability insurance). This is usually included in your pet insurance
-
We are located in a rural setting amongst working farmland and therefore Warren Park may not be suitable for all dogs due to the sounds of gun shots, bird scaring devises and occasional farm machinery operating in nearby land. Please assess the suitability for your own dog
-
Every effort is made to maintain the park but it should be accepted that the park will be muddy at times and the ground will be uneven in places.
-
Users must also inspect the park to ensure that it is suitable for use by their dog/s, fence height etc. before letting their dog off lead
-
The park is surrounded by a 6 foot high dog & boar fence however if your dog(s) can jump high fences, climb or is likely to dig themselves out then the park may not be totally secure for you. We do not accept responsibility for escapees
-
The ground is uneven and therefore due care must be taken at all times to ensure your own comfort and safety when walking. Please ensure you are wearing appropriate footwear for your session
The Session
-
Bookings last 50 minutes so please carefully check your arrival time. This INCLUDES time for you to retrieve your dog, get them into your vehicle and vacate the area prior to the next appointment. Dogs must be back in the car before the end of the 50 minute session to allow for the next dog to enter at their allotted time.
-
If you struggle to recall your dog please allow enough time to get them back on a lead so you can depart the park at the correct time. Alternatively use a longline and harness to enable you to get hold of them safely and promptly.
-
Please leave promptly at the end of your session, even if you arrived late. Any user who overstays will be restricted from using the park in the future
-
PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY as this will limit the enjoyment of the users before you and/or cause their dogs stress. Please do not wait by the gateway either as this will have implications for the current user.
Arriving & Leaving the Warren Park
-
The mobile signal may be weak for some networks so please ensure you have your code prior to arriving at the park. This will be sent to you 2 hours before through the email given. It is your responsibility to ensure correct details have been left.
-
Please arrive cautiously, and before opening the outer gate, check that the previous user isn’t in the car park loading their dog back into their vehicle
-
You must not at any time park on ANY grassed area. Parking of vehicles is only permitted in the designated parking area, inside the Park perimeter on the hard standing and not outside the gate.
-
Please do not attempt to open the outer gate whilst any dogs are in the park area, even if they are on lead. It is extremely important not to enter the parking area when the previous user is still in the park or still in the car park as this could have serious consequences for nervous or reactive dogs
-
The previous session will vacate the parking area and is expected to lock the gate behind them before leaving, even if someone is waiting for the next session. This is to ensure that only authorised people with their code can gain access.
-
If the previous appointment is still in the park when your booking starts, please inform us immediately by calling 07508058722
-
Never enter the enclosed park while somebody else is in it. There is a padlock to lock yourself in to prevent anyone from entering when you are inside
-
Once the park is vacated input your gate code into the padlock if you have closed the lock and relock the park behind you. This is very important. If someone asks you to leave the park unlocked simply let them know that the terms of use mean that you must lock the park. Please let us know of this as soon as you can
-
Never divulge your gate code to anyone
DO’S & DON’TS
-
Any user failing to pick up dog waste will lead to the refusal of future use. We allow disposal of dog waste only in the numerous bins provided around the park.
-
Dogs must be kept on leads until safely inside the secure park boundary and the gate closed
-
Please make sure the park gate is closed immediately upon entering and leaving the park
-
Children are welcome on the park but must be supervised by an adult at all times. The enrichment areas and activities are designed to be used by the dogs only and people should not attempt to climb on them
-
Please be aware that the park may be muddy, particularly during the winter months so ensure that you wear appropriate footwear.
-
Please do not climb on any fencing or gates
-
Please do not cause any obstructions
-
Do not drop litter or leave toys or uneaten treats in the park. Dogs may swallow them and become ill so please take everything home with you at the end of your session
-
No drones or other mechanically propelled devices are permitted on the parks
-
The standard booking fee covers 6 dogs without prior permission. If you would like to bring more dogs, you must gain permission. This will only be permitted in certain circumstances and may include an extra charge.
-
If you wish to share your slot with friends, it is your responsibility to ensure that they read and agree to these Terms of Use. Please ensure that all dogs get along before bringing them to the facility and remember a maximum of 6 dogs unless you have permission for more for the session.
-
If sharing your slot with friends, a maximum of 6 vehicles is permitted per booking when using the Park.
-
The booking is personal to the Client and may not be transferred or sub-let this consent to any other person, without prior consent from Warren Park
-
At no time should a dog(s) be tethered to any structures on site i.e. fencing, posts, gates etc
Etiquette
-
Warren Park provides a safe haven for many dogs and their owners. Please give people and dogs plenty of space. Any disrespectful behaviour will lead to refusal of future use
-
Please respect neighbours’ privacy
-
Although Warren Park is intended to be a safe space for all dogs with behavioural issues, dogs who exhibit excessive, persistent patterns of barking behaviour may be restricted from using the facility for the peace of our farming neighbours
Obstacles
-
Warren Park is not liable for any death, damage, injury or loss to any person or animal while using the facility or the obstacles within it, or to any third party as a result of any person or dog
-
The enrichment obstacles are designed for canine use only. Before using the facility or the equipment within it, please ensure that dogs are physically fit, old enough and strong enough to perform activities safely
-
Do not use obstacles in wet or icy conditions as surfaces become slippery
-
Dogs must never be picked up and placed on obstacles but instead left to explore them freely and only if they choose to
-
Never push dogs to do anything that they are not physically or mentally capable of. Allow dogs to go at their own pace and always give them the option of not doing something
Health & Welfare
-
Dogs must be in a good state of physical health, we recommend vaccinations and or titre testing. They must also be free from flea, tick and worm parasites
-
Do not bring your dog to the park if they or any other pets in your household are or have been unwell in 48 hours prior to your visit. Doing so could be harmful to other dogs
-
All sessions must comply with Warren Park’s positive reinforcement training values. We reserve the right to cancel or end any session that may not comply
-
Harsh handling of dogs, either verbal or physical is not allowed
-
The use of 'tools' such as prong or pinch collars, electric devices or check chains are not permitted and must be removed before dogs are allowed to “play” in the park
-
Never leave dogs unattended in the park – if you chose to leave your dogs in the vehicle whilst you exercise other dogs in the park, please ensure their welfare is managed and they are not disturbing our neighbours
